About the club
Cheltenham Civil Service RFC fields three men’s teams (1st XV, 2nd XV and Vets), a Ladies XV, a mixed walking rugby section, a mixed ability section and a junior section called the Sharks. There is also touch rugby in the summer.
The club caters for players of all ages and standards, and welcomes current players, those returning to the game and complete newcomers. There is no requirement for players or parents to be civil servants.
When and where they play
Men’s matches are mainly on Saturday afternoons and ladies’ matches on Sunday afternoons.
Training: men on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6.45pm; ladies on Thursdays at 6.45pm; mixed walking rugby on Tuesdays at 7pm; mixed ability on Tuesday early evenings.
The Sharks train and play on Sunday mornings.
