About the club
Established in 1955, Cheltenham Tennis Club is a welcoming members’ club offering competitive and social tennis all year round on four hard courts, two of them floodlit. Non-members can also book courts.
There are four social sessions a week where anyone can get involved. The club enters several men’s and women’s teams in the Gloucestershire summer league, and teams in the Gloucestershire winter mixed doubles and over-60s leagues. It also runs competitive and social tournaments from time to time.

Joining the club
As Gloucestershire Small Tennis Club of the Year winners 2025, the club offers very competitive membership fees, and anyone can join, of all abilities.
Joining a new club can sometimes be daunting, so the club offers three free social sessions. That way you can get to know the club and its members before committing to join.
